How does eMailSignature™ work?

eMailSignature™ consists of three components:


  1. The management console (i.e. the Cockpit), where the Super user design email signatures and manage deployment.
  2. The settings database (MS Access or MS SQL) where all information are stored, e.g. email signatures, Outlook settings, deployment settings, license key etc.
  3. A small executable, Sign.exe, which contains all the program logic and being responsible for deploying email signatures and settings to Outlook.

4 • Data source

User contact details are pulled from the data source using LDAP protocol. No configuration is required when using Active Directory.










5 • Outlook

When users send an email message, they automatically get their email signatures and body font settings from the settings DB (managed by the Super user).
